Breathwork at Okra
Breathwork is a perfect healing tool for the 21st century. One session alone can change your life; its effects are immediate and permanent. Breathwork is a powerful and effective way to heal past traumas, offering an alternative and healthy way to release old pain, grief, anger, or other unexpressed emotions. ALL BREATHERS: Please bring a yoga mat or thick blanket to lie on, pillow, blanket, and eye mask. We have extra supplies if you forget something.
What is Breathwork like?
A Breathwork session takes place on a yoga mat, with music as a backdrop while you breathe in a circular fashion. At the very beginning of the session you will be instructed on the extremely simple breathing technique, and in the course of just a little over an hour, individuals often find they are transported from the machinations of the mind to a place of complete peace and grounded centeredness.
